/World/Marathi was created to accommodate all Marathi language based web sites in ODP.

You will need Devanagri fonts installed to view most of the web-sites. Most of the sites listed have instructions on installing related fonts.

The names and descriptions of the sites and sub-categories are in transliterated format. For information on transliteration, visit ITRANS (Indian language Transliteratation) at http://www.aczone.com/itrans/. The transliteration map is available at http://www.aczone.com/itrans/tblall/tblall.html.

The descriptions for the categories are given in English to aid in interpretation.

We will not be using Devanagari fonts at DMoz till the support for Devanagai fonts is available uniformly and seamlessly across most of the platforms and browsers.
